1. Rugen Island is the largest island in Germany. Jasmund National Park has a bunch of chalk cliffs and beech forests, which are protected by UNESCO World Heritage since the summer of 2011. One ultimate destination is King’s Chair (Konigsstuhl)- which lies 118 m above sea level.
2. Lake Constance is ranked as the third biggest lake in Central Europe with crystal water. it’s a great place for sailing and swimming.
3. Cologne Cathedral – UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most majestic ones in Europe. You would find Treasure Chamber with authentic, valuable objects and manuscripts.
4. Ludwig Museum in Cologne is perfect if you are interested in contemporary art. You can find collections of the most modern trends from the beginning of the 20th century till the present times.
5. Hamburg is not to eat a hamburger although the name is assumed to derive from this city. Miniatur Wunderland is a model railway system and the largest in the world. The construction of 1500 m2 layout size costs 21 million euros and was awarded with Guinness World Record.
6. Are you a sweet tooth? Then you must visit the Chocolate Museum in Cologne. Of course, you can fill your stomach with waffles dipped in the chocolate fountain 3-meter in height.
7. If you love nature, then the Black Forest is a must-go. Besides rivers, flower-filled meadows, villages and hills, you will be surprised by Baden-Baden- a historic SPA town with hot springs and thermal baths. We recommend Friedrichsbad and the Baden Baden Spa Caracalla as bathhouses if you want to experience a variety of spa styles.
8. Romerberg square, located in Frankfurt. The most famous place with heritage architecture and Fountain of Justice, which is located in the middle of the square. There you can look at Haus Wertheym – the only heritage building, which survived WWII.
9. Berlin’s Television Tower. You can see the breathtaking view over the city at the 368-meter height and eat in the revolving Sphere Restaurant.
